Russian troops tried to cross the Oskil River in the Kharkiv Region on the Kupiansk axis, but failed.
Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesman for the Khortytsia operational-strategic group, stated this on the air of the telethon.
It is reported that the russians are continuing their attempts to cross from the left to the right bank, but their actions are blocked by the Ukrainian military.
"Currently, the personnel and equipment that try to cross to the other bank are immediately destroyed. Even if some groups cross in the amount of 8-10 people, then several people go ashore and are destroyed. The enemy is trying to infiltrate and accumulate, but they are not able to do this," Voloshyn noted.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the National Security and Defense Council previously stated that the information about the offensive of russian troops on Kozacha Lopan, which is being spread by russian public media, is not true.
Analysts of the OSINT project DeepState reported that the russian occupiers allegedly managed to break through towards Kupiansk and enter the eastern part of the city, the Ukrainian military eliminated some of the attackers, and the invaders are trying to send reinforcements.
The information that the enemy has entrenched in Kupiansk in the Kharkiv Region is not true.
