The Central Election Commission has recognized Tamila Tasheva, the representative of the President in Crimea, as an elected Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos party.
This is stated in the CEC's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
On November 6, the CEC recognized Ivan Prymachenko as a Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos party, included in the electoral list of the Holos party under No. 24 instead of the deceased Oleh Makarov.
On November 25, the CEC reported that the commission had received a statement from Prymachenko about renouncing his parliamentary mandate.
The CEC reviewed the document and recognized Ivan Prymachenko as one who did not acquire a parliamentary mandate.
At the same time, the commission recognized Tasheva, the next candidate in line, included in the electoral list of the Holos political party under No. 26, as the elected Member of Parliament of Ukraine in the early parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Oleh Makarov, a Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos faction, died in October.
On April 25, 2022, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Tamila Tasheva as the permanent representative of the President in the russian-annexed Crimea, dismissing Anton Korynevych from this position.
Tasheva has held the position of a deputy representative of the President in Crimea since October 2019, she is a co-founder of the KrymSOS public organization. Previously, she was a PR manager for the Tik musical band and an assistant to the former President Petro Poroshenko's Commissioner for the Crimean Tatar People, Mustafa Dzhemilev.
