The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets stated that russian occupiers may have shot Ukrainian military personnel in the Kursk Oblast.
Lubinets reported this on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, November 20.
"Social networks have revealed the alleged shooting of Ukrainian prisoners of war who were surrounded by the Russians in Kursk Oblast," Lubinets wrote.
The Ombudsman did not specify how many Ukrainian military personnel may have been shot by the occupiers.
It is also unclear when and in which settlement the occupiers may have committed another war crime.
Lubinets reported that he had sent relevant letters to the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
We remind you that earlier, on November 20, it became known that the russian occupiers shot two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Novodmytrivka on the Pokrovsk axis (Donetsk Region).
