Occupiers shoot woman on outskirts of Terny - Donetsk Prosecutor's Office

Russian occupiers shot a local woman on the outskirts of the village of Terny (Donetsk Region), an investigation has been launched into this fact.

The press service of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has informed about this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to operational data, on November 10, russian soldiers committed another war crime in the Donetsk Region.

While on the outskirts of the village of Terny of the Lyman Territorial Community, the russian military saw a local woman walking along the street along the houses destroyed by the enemy.

"The occupiers opened fire on the woman. The civilian was killed by a small-arms shot," the prosecutor's office said.

Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched in the criminal proceedings for the commission of a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).

Currently, urgent investigative (search) actions are being carried out, aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the event and identifying the victim of the occupiers.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 13, russian troops shelled 11 settlements in the Donetsk Region, as a result of which two people were killed and eight were injured.
