The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine criticized embassies that announced the suspension of work on November 20 due to information about a possible large-scale shelling of Ukraine by the russians for inciting panic.
This is stated in the MFA message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, the MFA notes that today in the information field there were reports about the temporary transition to remote work of the US Embassy and some other diplomatic missions of foreign states in Ukraine.
The MFA reports that it is in constant contact with partners regarding potential security threats and recalls that the threat of shelling by the aggressor state has been a daily reality for Ukrainians for over a thousand days.
"On this 1001st day of the full-scale invasion, the threat of russian shelling is as relevant as on the previous thousand days. We believe that it would be right for partners to react on the 1001st day in the same way as on the previous thousand days, without any additional information pressure," the message says.
The Foreign Ministry asks all citizens of Ukraine to remain vigilant, not to ignore air raid signals, and go to shelter in case of danger - as always with the threat of russian missile attack.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the US Embassy in Ukraine reported that it had received information about a possible significant air attack on November 20, so it will be closed on that day and recommends that US citizens be prepared to immediately take shelter in the event of an air raid. After that, the embassies of Spain, Italy, and Greece also announced the suspension of work on November 20.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine has warned that the aggressor country of russia is conducting a massive informational and psychological attack against Ukraine, sending out messages on behalf of the agency about the threat of "especially massive" shelling.
