AFU stabilize situation in Kursk Oblast, but russian army retains ability to repeat assaults

The Defense Forces of Ukraine were able to stabilize the situation in the territory of the Kursk Oblast of the aggressor country of russia. Recently, there have been reports of a counteroffensive by the russian army from this section of the front.

This was stated by Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

"As of now, the situation in the Kursk Oblast is stabilized, but the russian army retains the ability to carry out further assault attempts," Kovalenko wrote.

He noted that the combat check by the occupiers was unsuccessful. Assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine led to losses in personnel and equipment.

As for the servicemen of the North Korean army, according to Kovalenko, they did not take part in the assaults on Ukrainian positions.

As The Telegraph recently wrote with reference to a British intelligence report, russian dictator vladimir putin instructed his generals to "liberate" the Kursk Oblast before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.

We will remind, on November 11, the German publication Bild wrote that the results of the three-day counteroffensive of the russian army in the Kursk Oblast resulted in heavy losses of the occupiers.

This is evidenced by numerous video materials made by the Ukrainian military. So, the day before, servicemen of the 47th brigade and the 225th separate assault battalion showed footage of the repell of a large-scale russian assault in the Kursk Oblast.
