Russian president vladimir putin wants to expel Ukrainian troops from the territory of the Kursk Oblast before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump, which will take place on January 20, 2025.

Putin has reportedly deployed 50,000 russian and North Korean troops for a counteroffensive in the Kursk Oblast before Trump takes office in January, and as a result, russia is likely to increase its kamikaze drone attacks on Ukrainian positions in the coming days, using new targets launch near the border.
