Verkhovna Rada Member Artem Dmytruk, who fled Ukraine and is currently in London, gave an interview to the russian propaganda publication RT, which is banned in the European Union.
This is reported by the Ukrainian News agency.
In the interview, the MP criticized the Ukrainian authorities and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally.
"The war in Ukraine strengthened and maintains Zelenskyy's genocide against the entire Ukrainian people. While the war is going on, the Ukrainian people are forced to tolerate Zelenskyy's rule. From the very beginning, Zelenskyy tried to usurp power, concentrate power in one hand, and remove dissenters," Dmytruk said.
According to the MP, in 2022 "they tried to kill him twice, kidnapped and tortured in the basements of the SSU".

Besides, Dmytruk accused Ukraine of starting a war with russia and said that Ukraine will never be accepted into the EU and NATO.
He also criticized the Kursk operation, calling it "extremely stupid ambitions of Zelenskyy".
"This is another criminal decision that will be recorded in the future criminal cases of Mr. Zelenskyy," Dmytruk said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine asked Interpol to declare fugitive MP Artem Dmytruk on international wanted list.
The Rada also expelled Dmytruk from the parliamentary committee, in which he was a member.
At the end of August, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv arrested in absentia a member of the Rada, Dmytruk, who had fled abroad.
