Ukraine asks Interpol to declare fugitive Member of the Verkhovna Rada Artem Dmytruk on international wanted list.
This was announced in the Prosecutor General's Office, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The Prosecutor General’s Office, in accordance with international treaties on the extradition of criminals, appeals to a number of relevant countries with a request for the detention and temporary arrest of MP, suspected of attacks on a soldier and a law enforcement officer, with the aim of his further extradition to Ukraine.
"In addition, in agreement with the Prosecutor General's Office, a request for the publication of a Red Notice regarding the specified Member of Parliament of Ukraine has been submitted to the records of the General Secretariat of Interpol," the Prosecutor General's Office noted.
We will remind you that a person similar to Dmytruk was spotted in one of the shopping centers in London. On September 2, the State Bureau of Investigation reported how MP Artem Dmytruk left Ukraine for Moldova.
At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv chose for Dmytruk a preventive measure in the form of detention, after which the procedure for his search, including an international one, was initiated.
