Russians preparing ground assaults in Zaporizhzhia Region, they do not have forces to attack regional center — NSDC

The russian occupiers are preparing to carry out an assault on the section of the front south of Zaporizhzhia. At the same time, they do not have enough strength to attack the regional center itself.

Andrii Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), has announced this.

"Regarding the Zaporizhzhia Region. The enemy is preparing tactical assault actions in the areas of several settlements. The enemy does not have the forces to attack Zaporizhzhia itself," Kovalenko wrote.

He noted that the russians, with the help of their numerous propagandists, will try to spread information about this in order to cause panic among Ukrainians.

Kovalenko added that the russians consider the Kurakhove axis in the west of the Donetsk Region as part of possible actions in the Zaporizhzhia Region.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today DeepState analysts informed about the advance of russians near one settlement in the Zaporizhzhia Region.

Recall that on November 11, the speaker of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn, said that in the coming days, the occupiers may launch ground assaults in the south of the Zaporizhzhia Region.
