On the night of Saturday, November 9, russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine with 51 unmanned aerial vehicles, the air defense forces managed to destroy 32 UAVs, 18 enemy drones were lost in location.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that last night the enemy launched 51 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type and an unspecified type from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Oryol districts (both - russia) on the territory of Ukraine.
The epicenter of the strikes was the Odesa Region.
"As of 08:00 a.m., the downing of 32 enemy UAVs in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Ternopil Regions has been confirmed. 18 enemy drones have been lost in various regions of Ukraine," the message says.
The air attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft missile forces, units of electronic defense systems, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of November 8, the russians attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, four Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 92 drones.
Air defense forces shot down 62 drones and 4 air missiles.
