On the night of Tuesday, November 5, the army of the aggressor country of the russian federation launched a large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine. Two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles were launched from the Black Sea over the Odesa Region.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the same time, the Kharkiv Region was attacked with guided aerial bombs. In addition, the russian federation launched 79 Shahed attack drones and other unspecified models from Bryansk, Kursk and Oryol.
As of 08:30 a.m., the Air Defense Forces confirmed the downing of two Kh-59/69 guided missiles and 48 attack drones in the regions, in particular in the Odesa, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Khmelnytskyi Regions.
At the same time, the loss of locations of 30 enemy drones in various regions of Ukraine was recorded. One drone returned to the territory of russia.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of November 2, the russians launched a Kh-59/69 guided air missile and 71 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type and an unspecified type over the territory of Ukraine.
Air defense forces shot down 39 drones, 21 unmanned aerial vehicles were lost in location, 5 unmanned aerial vehicles returned to russia.
Meanwhile, on the night of Monday, November 4, russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine with 80 drones, the occupiers also struck the Dnipropetrovsk Region with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and guided aerial bombs against the Kharkiv Region; air defense forces managed to shoot down 50 enemy drones.
