On the night of Monday, November 4, russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine with 80 drones, the occupiers also struck the Dnipropetrovsk Region with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and guided aerial bombs against the Kharkiv Region; air defense forces managed to shoot down 50 enemy drones.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of November 4 (from 7:00 p.m. on November 3), the enemy attacked the Dnipropetrovsk Region (launch area - Rostov Oblast of the russian federation) with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, attacked the Kharkiv Region with guided air bombs and launched 80 Shahed-type attack UAVs over Ukraine and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unknown type from Bryansk, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russia).
"As of 08:30 a.m., the downing of 50 enemy UAVs in the Kyiv, Sumy, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Kirovohrad Regions has been confirmed. 27 enemy drones have been lost in location in various regions of Ukraine," the message says.
The air attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of November 2, the russians launched a Kh-59/69 guided air missile and 71 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type and an unspecified type over the territory of Ukraine.
Air defense forces shot down 39 drones, 21 unmanned aerial vehicles were lost in location, 5 unmanned aerial vehicles returned to russia.
