In the coming weeks, a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group will be held in the Ramstein format. The leaders of states are supposed to meet at it. This meeting will take place instead of the one that was supposed to be held in October, but it was canceled due to the approach of a super-powerful hurricane in the United States.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this in a video message on October 30.
"We can already see the contours of the meeting in the Ramstein format, which should take place in the coming weeks. This is important," Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that each package of support "was fully implemented and so that our steps with partners were truly joint and as effective as possible."
Obviously, this meeting will take place after the presidential election in the U.S.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Joe Biden postponed his trip to the Ramstein format meeting due to Hurricane Milton.
