It is claimed that the total amount of the fine was almost 13 decillion (one with 33 zeros).
This fine was imposed on Google due to the fact that the company did not comply with the requirements to restore the accounts of 17 russian YouTube channels, including Zvezda, Pervy Kanal, Russia 1, Moscow Media, etc., as well as the YouTube channel of Margarita Simonyan.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 6, a number of russian mass media wrote that the main telecommunications operators of the russian federation received a warning from the Kremlin about slowing down the playback speed of videos on YouTube.
It will be recalled that at the beginning of July it became known that the authorities of the russian federation are preparing the so-called "degradation" of YouTube, the ultimate goal of which will be to block the operation of video hosting in the country.
