The functions of the central medical and social expert commission (MSEC) will be performed by the Ukrainian State Research Institute of Medical and Social Disability Problems.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
"According to the decision of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the performance of the functions of the Central MSEC, in particular regarding the consideration of appeals and the verification of the validity of decisions made by the regional level MSECs, has been fully transferred to the Ukrainian State Research Institute of Medical and Social Disability Problems of the Ministry of Health in the city of Dnipro, where during 2024 the Ministry of Health established a necessary material and technical base, which should significantly simplify the process of passing the examination for people," the message says.
It is noted that the algorithm for appealing decisions of the MSEC has not changed at the moment. If your case was sent for appeal to the Central MSEC, it will be forwarded to the Ukrainian State Research Institute of Medical and Social Disability Problems of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the city of Dnipro.
"You will be contacted regarding the review and further actions, the order of review will be maintained," the Ministry of Health added.
It will be recalled that Zelenskyy instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to initiate the liquidation of MSEC. And also conduct a full audit of the pensions of officials who have registered for disability. This decision was made due to numerous facts of violations of the MSEC and false disabilities of employees of state structures.
