Russia launches 100 UAVs over Ukraine overnight. Air defense downed 66, another 24 lost in location

From 07:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, the russian occupation forces launched 100 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unspecified drones from Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (the aggressor country of the russian federation) over Ukraine.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to reports, the enemy's air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 10:30 a.m., 66 enemy UAVs were confirmed shot down in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Cherkasy Regions. Most of the enemy drones were shot down in the Kyiv, Cherkasy and Khmelnytskyi Regions.

In addition, 24 russian drones were lost in location, 4 flew in the direction of russia and Belarus.

As a result of the russian attack, there are several UAV hits on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the aggressor state of russia attacked Ukraine in September with a record number of kamikaze drones - 1,300 drones. At the same time, this number may be exceeded already in October.
