Only 30% of ammunition of russian army consists of russian shells, the rest is supplied by North Korea and Iran

Only 30% of the shells produced by the russian occupation army were produced in russia. The rest of the ammunition was made in North Korea or Iran.

As the Bloomberg agency reports, this assessment is given by Ukrainian and South Korean intelligence.

According to intelligence information, about 60% of the projectiles launched by the russian troops came to russia from North Korea. The remaining 10% were produced in Iran.

In the documents obtained by Bloomberg, it is said that since August 2023, North Korea has already supplied russia with 8 million 122-mm and 152-mm shells. In addition, Pyongyang provided moscow with about 100 Hwasong-11 ballistic missiles and Bulsae-4 self-propelled anti-tank systems.

It also says that it is significantly more than some European estimates of the amount of North Korean weapons supplied to russia.

Recall that today, October 25, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the first use of North Korean troops in the combat zone is expected on October 27-28.

We previously reported that the first units of the North Korean army have already arrived in the Kursk Oblast, where the operation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine is ongoing.
