In Ukraine, a decision was made to re-check enterprises, institutions and organizations regarding their compliance with the criteria for booking employees from mobilization.
This is stated in Resolution No. 1204 of October 22, 2024.
The Cabinet of Ministers made changes to the Criteria and procedures for determining enterprises, institutions and organizations that are critically important for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population in a special period, as well as critically important for meeting the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Resolution determines that the body that made the decision to identify the enterprise, institution, organization as critical, if necessary, conducts a check of compliance with the criteria.
Based on the results of the inspection, the body makes one of the following decisions:
- about non-compliance of the enterprise, institution, organization with the criteria, as well as canceling their status,
- on compliance of the enterprise, institution, organization with the criteria.
The body sends a copy of the decision made based on the results of the inspection to the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Defense (the SSU, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense) and the Ministry of Digital Transformation within one day from the day of its adoption.
From July 17, the Diia portal began to operate the booking of employees liable for military service.
The Ministry of Economy previously stated that 1.2 million people can be booked for mobilization in Ukraine, more than half of this amount has already been used.
