Ukraine ready to discuss any options for peace in accordance with international law and with respect for territorial integrity - President's Office head Yermak

Ukraine is ready to discuss any options for adjusting the Victory Plan, provided that it complies with international law and respects the territorial integrity of the state, the inviolability of its borders, and the country's full sovereignty.

Head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak, wrote about this for the Finnish newspaper Hufvudstadsbladet on Tuesday, October 22.

Yermak emphasized that Ukraine is ready to agree on a "peace framework" at the second Peace Summit. According to him, this is also necessary for the entire international community, so all states should take an active part in developing the foundations of peace.

"We are ready to discuss any options for adjusting our proposal, provided that it complies with international law and respects the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the inviolability of its borders and the country's full sovereignty. Ukraine, as a victim of aggression, cannot accept any changes that threaten its existence, the right to self-determination or the human dignity of the Ukrainian people," Yermak emphasized.

A series of ten thematic conferences will be held on each of the points of President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula, which will end in late October. Yermak noted that Ukraine will be ready to present to the international community and the aggressor country of russia "a concrete path to a just, strong and stable peace."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Victory Plan for Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada.

On October 17, Zelenskyy said that if the West does not support the Victory Plan, it will be a big mistake and a privilege for the aggressor country of russia.

It will be recalled that on October 9, Zelenskyy announced the possibility of ending the war no later than 2025.
