This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that last day the enemy launched two missile strikes at the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, as well as 82 airstrikes, including dropping 136 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 4,000 shellings on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, 154 of them from rocket salvo systems.
On October 21, 134 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, three combat clashes took place in the Kharkiv Axis.
Fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Lyptsi and Vovchansk.
Five enemy attacks took place in the Kupyansk Axis during the day.
The Defense Forces repelled enemy assaults near Petropavlivka, Zelenyi Hai, Vyshneve and Lozova.
In the Lyman Axis, the invaders attacked 14 times, trying to advance near Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Makiyivka, Torske and Terny.
Bombarding in the Siversk Axis, the enemy attacked Verkhniokamianske, Pereyizne and Bilohorivka three times.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, with the support of aviation, the occupiers attacked Chasiv Yar.
The situation is under the control of units of the Defense Forces.
In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy launched three attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 46 offensive and assault actions of the aggressor near Sukha Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Krasnyi Yar, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Selydove and Mykhailivka.
The enemy actively used aviation.
In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 26 attacks near Hirnyk, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Heorhiyivka, Dalne, Katerynivka, Zorianyi, Hostre, and Antonivka.
In the Vremivka Axis, the enemy carried out 12 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Bohoyavlenka, Novoukrainka, and Zolote.
In the Orikhiv Axis, Ukrainian positions were attacked near Mala Tokmachka.
In the Prydniprovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled four assaults, the enemy had no success.
Defense forces continue the operation in the Kursk Oblast.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 41 airstrikes on the Kursk Oblast, using 68 guided aerial bombs, and also carried out 260 shelling of populated areas.
Ukrainian soldiers are actively causing significant losses in manpower and equipment to the occupation forces.
On October 21, the Air Force, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated and hit two bridges.
In total, the russian invaders lost 1,350 people last day.
