The US is preparing another USD 800 million for the production of Ukrainian drones.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during the evening address.
"Another separate package is being prepared - financing for the production of Ukrainian drones, USD 800 million. Ukraine is grateful for this support. We need that, despite any threats of a political nature in the world, Ukraine can always defend its sovereignty, its independence. It will definitely be," Zelenskyy said.
It will be recalled that during the October 21 visit to Kyiv, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced the allocation of a USD 400 million military aid package to Ukraine. It included ammunition for HIMARS systems, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems and other weapons.
In addition, Zelenskyy discussed with US Secretary of Defense Austin the expansion of the use of long-range weapons against russian military targets.
The United States supports a just peace in Ukraine, but continues to study the details of the "victory plan" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
