The World Bank has downgraded Ukraine's GDP growth forecast from 6.5% to 2% in 2025.
This is stated in the bank's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The forecast for the growth of Ukraine's economy for 2025 has been reduced by 4.5 percentage points to 2%, which reflects assumptions about the continuation of military operations.
In addition, the World Bank maintained its forecast for the growth of the Ukrainian economy at the end of 2024 at the level of 3.2%, which corresponds to the expectations announced at the beginning of the year.
In 2026, Ukraine's economy may grow by 7%, the previous forecast was 5.1%.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development retained the forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth in 2024 at the level of 3%, but worsened it for 2025.
Ukraine's GDP growth forecast for the next year has worsened from 6% to 4.7%.
In April-June 2024, real gross domestic product (GDP), according to operational data, increased by 3.7% compared to the same period in 2023.
