Occupiers become more active in 2 Axes. General Staff reports on situation at front

On October 17, 210 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest Axis was Pokrovsk, where 50 clashes took place in a day, and Kurakhove - 47 clashes.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Last day, the enemy carried out 62 airstrikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, in particular, dropped 113 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy launched more than 4,060 shellings, 125 of them from rocket salvo systems, and engaged about 1,450 kamikaze drones for destruction.

During the day of October 17, 210 combat clashes took place at the front.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, 7 attacks were repelled near the settlements of Vovchansk and Starytsia.

In the Kupyansk Axis, there were 19 attacks by invaders during the day near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Vyshneve, and Nadia.

In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 21 times near Hrekivka, Druzheliubivka, Katerynivka, Novomykhailivka, Novosadove, Nevske, Torske, Serebrianka, Kreminna, and Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, the occupiers attacked 8 times in the districts of Hryhorivka, Minkivka, Chasiv Yar, and Ivanivske.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy launched 8 attacks in the direction of Toretsk, Nelipivka and near Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 50 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Novotoretske, Mykhailivka, Lysivka, Selydove; the greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near the settlements of Promin and Selydove.

In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 47 attacks near Katerynivka, Antonivka, Heorhiyivka, Izmailivka, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Zorianyi, Hostre, and Vodiane.

In the Vremivka Axis, the enemy carried out 11 assaults in the areas of Vuhledar and Levadne.

In the Orikhiv Axis, 1 enemy attack was repulsed near Novoandriyivka.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, 5 enemy attacks were repelled.

The operation is ongoing in the Kursk Oblast.

In general, along the entire combat line, the Ukrainian defenders inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces.

Last day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 20 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and one other important target of the enemy.

The total losses of the russian invaders on October 17 amounted to 1,530 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 17, 163 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest direction was Kurakhove, where 52 clashes took place during the day, and the enemy was also active in the Kupyansk, Lyman and Pokrovsk Axes.
