The Diia mobile application has introduced recruitment for the Army of Drones. You can join the UAV units without visiting territorial recruitment and social support centers, and you can apply in a few clicks.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov has announced this.
He noted that after submitting an application, a person will be assigned to the unit he chose.
According to him, there will be no "distribution" and mobilization through territorial recruitment and social support centers. And people will go to basic military training with an already signed contract.
"Suitability for the service is also confirmed independently at the stage of submitting an application, so there is no need to pass the military-medical commission," explained the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
In the Diia application, you need to select the desired brigade or unit using the filters, you can send one or more applications.
Also, there you can choose a direction related to drones — from an operator of any drone to an engineer. Then the recruiter invites for an interview, and the unit signs the contract.
Motivated fighters must become the basis of the army, within the Army of Drones we have formed and staffed hundreds of strike companies, trained tens of thousands of operators who work according to the new doctrine and hit hundreds of units of enemy equipment every week. In order to increase the number of qualified operators, the Ministry of Defense has already started certifying private schools of UAV operators, and recruiting in Diia is a logical next step for those who have decided who they want to be in this war," Fedorov added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, from July 17, the booking of employees liable for military service began to operate on the Diia portal.
The Ministry of Economy previously stated that 1.2 million people can be booked for mobilization in Ukraine, more than half of this amount has already been used.
