On October 11, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Serhii Marchenko, signed the Fourth Additional Agreement with the Government of Canada regarding an additional loan in the amount of CAD 400 million (almost USD 300 million).
This is stated in the notification of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Funds will be raised through the IMF's Administrative Account.
Funding within the framework of the concluded Agreement will be aimed at ensuring priority expenditures of the State Budget of Ukraine.
The additional loan is granted for a period of 10 years, the interest rate is 1.5% per annum.
The grace period is 4.5 years from the date of receipt of funds.
It is expected that the funds will go to the general fund of the state budget in the near future.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Serhii Marchenko, signed a loan agreement with the Export-Import Bank of Korea on October 2 to attract USD 100 million.
