Ukraine for first time will receive preferential financing from Republic of Korea in amount of USD 100 million

On October 2, Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko signed a loan agreement with the Export-Import Bank of Korea to attract USD 100 million.

This is stated in the notification of the Ministry of Finance, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In April 2024, an Agreement was signed between the Governments of Ukraine and the Republic of Korea, which allows Ukraine to attract loans in the amount of up to USD 2.1 billion during 2024-2029.

The attraction of USD 100 million will be the first financial support that will come to the State Budget of Ukraine from the Republic of Korea.
