In January-September 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, the Ukrgasvydobuvannia joint-stock company increased the production of gas (commodity) by 6.5% to 10.4 billion cubic meters.
This is stated in the company's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"During 9 months, 71 wells were completed, 60 of which were put into operation. Of the new wells, 17 have a flow rate of more than 100,000 cubic meters per day. In addition, 6 wells of the old operating fund underwent intra-well operations, after which their flow rate reached more than 100,000 cubic meters per day. This year, 372,000 tons of liquid hydrocarbons were extracted, which is 26% more than in the same period last year," said the acting director general Ukrgasvydobuvannia, Serhii Lahno.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2023, Ukrgasvydobuvannia increased net profit 4.5 times, or by UAH 10.1 billion, to UAH 13 billion compared to 2022.
Naftogaz plans to extract 15 billion cubic meters of gas in 2024 at the expense of the Ukrgasvydobuvannia and Ukrnafta companies.
In 2023, Ukrgasvydobuvannia produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of gas, and Ukrnafta increased gas production by 6% to 1.097 billion cubic meters.
Ukrgasvydobuvannia is the largest gas producer in Ukraine, 100% of the company's shares belong to Naftogaz.
