The demobilization of men aged 18 to 25, who were mobilized due to a conflict in legislation, will collapse certain sections of the front.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said this at a briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Simply, demobilization is the collapse of certain sections of the Ukrainian Front in opposition to the russian federation. And we don't want anyone to use PR for these populist decisions, because this is not a matter for PR, but for the security of our country. But we realize that these children are 18-25 years old, they were mobilized due to the imperfection of the legislation," he said.
In his opinion, now it is necessary not only to find an opportunity to demobilize this category of soldiers, but "to understand who will come in their place".
Stefanchuk assures that the military leadership fulfills its promise and does not fix mistakenly mobilized men under the age of 25 in difficult areas.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, yesterday the Verkhovna Rada has granted a deferment to persons liable for military service under the age of 25 who, due to their health status, are recognized as unfit for military service in peacetime, and limitedly fit in wartime.
