President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. President Joe Biden at the White House and presented Ukraine's Victory Plan to him. The teams were tasked with consulting on next steps.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced this.
"During the meeting with President Biden, I presented the Victory Plan to him. We discussed details for strengthening the Plan, coordinated our positions, views and approaches," Zelenskyy said.
He informed that the teams of the presidents of the U.S. and Ukraine were instructed to hold consultations on the next steps.
"We deeply appreciate the fact that Ukraine and America stood side by side from the first moments of the Russian invasion. Your determination is incredibly important for our victory," Zelenskyy added.
Recall that Zelenskyy thanked the U.S. for the decision to provide defense aid to Ukraine in the total amount of USD 7.9 billion and the introduction of additional sanctions against russia.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, this week Zelenskyy also plans to discuss with U.S. President Joe Biden the permission to strike with American weapons deep into the territory of the aggressor state of russia.
