Zelenskyy arrives in Croatia to meet Andrej Plenković and participate in Ukraine - South East Europe Summit

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Croatia to meet with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and participate in the Ukraine - South East Europe Summit.

Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"I arrived in Croatia to meet with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, representatives of other countries of the region and to participate in the third Ukraine - South East Europe Summit.

With Plenković, Zelenskyy plans to discuss the continuation of defense cooperation, the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers who were wounded on the front line, as well as the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The summit in the Ukraine Plus 12 Countries format will discuss international efforts to bring peace and implement the Peace Formula, joint response to security challenges with partners, as well as cooperation on the way to the European Union and NATO.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in September, during a visit to Kyiv, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković announced the provision of a new package of military aid to Ukraine.

In October 2023, Croatia handed over Mi-8 helicopters to Kyiv as part of military aid to Ukraine.

From September 2023, Ukrainian grain began to be exported through Croatian ports.
