Russia takes out 180,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian grain through port of Mariupol this year - Shmyhal

This year, the russian occupiers taken out more than 180,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian grain through the port of Mariupol.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the government meeting, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Russia continues to use food as an element of aggression. Only through the port of Mariupol this year, the enemy taken out more than 180,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian grain. There is looting of temporarily occupied territories in order to use the stolen money to finance the war of aggression. Certainly, russian economic terror will be one from the directions in the work of the special tribunal regarding the crime of russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as energy terror against our state," he said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November 2023, Shmyhal reported that russia had stolen Ukrainian grain worth about USD 1 billion.
