On September 20, 172 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axis was Kurakhove, where 37 clashes took place during the day, the enemy also actively attacked in the Pokrovsk and Kupyansk Axes.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Last day, the russian aggressor launched four missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, using seven missiles, 72 air strikes (including 122 guided aerial bombs) and 1,508 kamikaze drone strikes.
Also, the enemy carried out 4,420 shellings of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and populated areas, 117 of them from MLRSes.
On October 7, 172 combat clashes were recorded along the entire front.
Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, there were six combat clashes in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchansk settlements.
In the Kupyansk Axis, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 25 times.
The main efforts of the invaders were made in the areas of Synkivka, Novoselivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova and Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman Axis, Ukrainian troops repelled 20 attacks by the occupiers near Makiyivka, Hrekivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Torske, and in Serebriansk Forest.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped four attempts by the enemy to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the Chasiv Yar and Stupochky areas of the Donetsk Region.
In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy, supported by aviation, carried out 12 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Dyliyivka and Nelipivka.
Ukrainian defenders repelled 26 assault and offensive actions in the Pokrovsk Axis.
The enemy concentrated its efforts in the areas of Lysivka and Selydove, where it carried out more than half of its attacks.
In addition, attempts by the occupiers to advance were stopped near Novotoretske, Kalynove, Krutyi Yar, Novohrodivka, and Mykolayivka of the Donetsk Region.
In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces continue to deter the enemy in the districts of Tsukuryne, Zhelanne Druhe, Hirnyk, Novoselydivka, Hostre, Heorhiyivka, and Katerynivka, where the enemy tried 37 times to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops.
In the Vremivka Axis, the aggressor carried out three assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Bohoyavlenka, Donetsk Region.
In the Orikhiv Axis, two unsuccessful attempts by the enemy to attack Ukrainian units were repelled near Robotyne.
In the Prydniprovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders harshly stopped seven attempts by the occupiers to advance on the line occupied by the Defense Forces.
There were no significant changes on the Huliaipole and Siversk Axes.
The enemy carries out permanent attacks on civilian infrastructure, positions of Ukrainian troops, and uses aviation.
Defense forces continue the operation in the Kursk Oblast.
According to available data, the russian occupiers carried out 17 airstrikes, using 24 guided aerial bombs in the Kursk Oblast.
The total losses of the russian invaders last day amounted to 1,340 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 6, 141 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of enemy attacks were recorded in the Pokrovsk (21 clashes), Kurakhove and Lyman (18 clashes each) Axes.
