On October 6, 141 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy was most active on the Pokrovsk (21 clashes), Kurakhove and Lyman (18 clashes each) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched seven missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers using eight missiles, as well as 86 airstrikes, dropping 109 guided air bombs.
The enemy launched more than 4,500 attacks, 131 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.
On October 6, 141 combat clashes with the russian invaders were recorded at the front.
So, six battles were fought on the Kharkiv axis.
Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Vovchansk and Starytsia.
On the Kupiansk axis, 12 skirmishes took place near Kucherivka, Novoosynove, Kruhliakivka, Vyshneve, Synkivka, and Stelmakhivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 18 times near Druzheliubivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Zarichne, Torske, Hrekivka, Hryhorivka, and Dibrova.
On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian defenders repulsed one attempt to suppress Ukrainian soldiers near Bilohorivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, nine battles were fought in the areas of Stupochky, Chasiv Yar and Bila Hora settlements.
On the Toretsk axis, the russians attacked 17 times near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka with the support of attack and bomber aircraft.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 21 enemy assaults in the areas of Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Novotroitske, Promin and Petrivka settlements.
The greatest concentration of attacks was near Krutyi Yar and Selydove.
Last day, the Kurakhove axis was attacked 18 times near the settlements of Novoselydivka, Hirnyk, Tsukuryne, Hostre, Heorhiivka, Zhelanne Druhe, Oleksandrivka and Kostiantynivka.
On the Vremivka axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled five assaults by the occupiers near the settlements of Bohoiavlenka, Yasna Poliana and Zolota Nyva.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy was defeated six times, attacking the defensive lines of the Ukrainians.
On the Huliaipillia axis, the situation has not changed much.
Last day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces made 6 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the enemy, and also hit a control post, an air defense unit, a unit of special equipment and two artillery systems.
On October 6, the total losses of the russian invaders amounted to 1,160 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 4, 159 combat clashes took place at the front, most of the enemy attacks were recorded on the Kurakhove (28 clashes) and Kupiansk (22 clashes) axes.
