Russia building tunnels in Kharkiv Region for undermining AFU defense facilities - National Guard’s brigade Khartiia

Russian troops in the Kharkiv Region are building underground logistics routes to get closer to Ukrainian positions.

This was reported by Volodymyr Dehtiariov, a representative of the press service of the brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Khartiia, on the air of the telethon.

According to him, the enemy uses underground routes to approach Ukrainian positions. This tactic is not new, the occupiers started using it in 2023, in the Avdiyivka Axis.

Dehtiariov also said that in the Kharkiv Axis, Ukrainian defenders are constantly updating their decisions, maintaining effective control over the airspace with the help of drones.

"We can prepare in advance, prevent the approach and any active actions of even small groups. Not to mention any attempts to break through using a large amount of equipment," he added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, British intelligence noted that the russian occupiers had to withdraw their forces from the Vovchansk area in order to organize reinforcements in the Kursk Oblast, where Ukraine captured the territory in August 2024.

Information spread on the network that the russians allegedly used a super-powerful aerial bomb ODAB-9000 (mass-detonating aerial bomb) in Vovchansk, Kharkiv Region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that this is not true and is part of the information war, russian propaganda.
