New passenger car sales stable at 5,700 in September – Ukravtoprom

In September 2024, the sale of new passenger cars remained at the level of September 2023 - 5,700 units.

This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that compared to August, the sales of new passenger cars decreased by 30%.

Among new passenger cars, Toyota cars were in the greatest demand in September – 840 registered cars.

In second place are Renault cars (541 registered cars), Skoda cars are in third place (443 cars), BMW cars are in fourth place (433 cars), and Volkswagen is in fifth place (336 cars).

The best-selling car in September was the Renault Duster (504 cars sold).

Since the beginning of the year, more than 53,000 new cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 21% more than in the same period last year.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, the sale of new cars increased by 60.6% year over year to almost 61,000 units.
