Ukraine is not conducting any negotiations with its allies regarding territorial compromises or peace agreements. This is how the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhii Tykhyi, commented on the publication of the Financial Times about the alleged discussion with allies of territorial concessions from the side of Ukraine in exchange for security guarantees.
European Pravda reports this.
"The information of the Financial Times source regarding the minister's discussion of compromises is simply false, and we wonder who is interested in spreading such false narratives," Tykhyi emphasized.
According to him, he was present at every meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha in New York.
"There were no proposals, discussions, or even hints of any territorial compromises at any of them. On the contrary, the minister's position is unshakable, and he emphasized its elements behind closed doors. There cannot be any compromises regarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," he emphasized.
Tykhyi emphasized that Sybiha spoke exclusively about the importance of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and called for adherence to the principle "nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine."
Recall that the Financial Times reported that Ukraine is allegedly discussing a cease-fire agreement with its allies in exchange for security guarantees.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 17, the head of the National Intelligence Organization of Türkiye, İbrahim Kalın, said that the solution to the russian-Ukrainian war must be the construction of a new security architecture.
On September 15, the U.S. President's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that it is the Ukrainian government that should determine how the war in Ukraine will end.
On August 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that putin does not want to end the war diplomatically.
