In Belarus, the next stage of inspection of military units began on September 30. It is headed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the First Deputy Minister of Defense. The main attention is paid to the readiness of military units, as well as units of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces to perform their tasks.
This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
In the course of the inspection, a gradual expansion of measures involving all ranges of the Armed Forces for conducting training and combat tasks is foreseen. Military personnel, including conscripts who were called up from the reserve, will have to complete a number of tasks to prepare weapons and equipment for use and go to designated areas.
During the inspection, the movement of military equipment is planned, which may cause temporary traffic restrictions on certain road sections.
It will be recalled that on September 5, the monitoring Telegram channel "Belarusian Gayun" reported that the Belarusian military was forced to shoot down russian Shaheds that flew into the territory of the country.
A similar incident occurred on the night of August 29. Then, for the first time, Belarus raised combat aircraft to destroy russian drones.
The day before, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine announced that Belarus is trying to suppress information about russian drones flying into the country's airspace.
