In Belarus, probably the first case was recorded when a fighter of the Belarusian Air Force made an attempt to destroy a real military target in the sky - a russian kamikaze drone of the Shahed type, which flew into the country during the russian attack on Ukraine.
This was reported by the Belarusian Hajun monitoring project.
So, it is indicated that this night, during another attack of the russian federation on Ukraine, one of the Shaheds again flew into the territory of Belarus in the Yelsk district. It happened at 03:30 a.m.
According to the project, after the entry of Shahed into the airspace of Belarus, a fighter jet of the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus "chased the violator" for about 20 minutes, and around 03:55 a.m. in the Yelsk district of the Gomel Oblast, at least 2 explosions were heard and a bright flash was observed in the sky.
"Thus, this is probably the first recorded case when a fighter of the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus made an attempt to destroy a real military target in the sky - a russian kamikaze drone of the Shahed type," the message reads.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, in the ISW, the reasons for the bringing of Belarusian troops to the border with Ukraine and predicted the actions of Lukashenko were mentioned.
