In the afternoon of September 24, the plane crossed the border of Ukraine from the side of Belarus and disappeared from radars. At the same time, an air alert was announced in the country.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The air target (not high-speed) on the border of the Kyiv and Zhytomyr Regions, crossed the state border from the territory of Belarus, heading south," the message said.
According to monitoring channels, the air target was recognized as a Yak-130 combat training aircraft. Later it disappeared from the radar. However, the Air Force has not yet confirmed this information.
The task of the plane includes the training of cadets of flight schools. Such planes are designed for 2 crew members.
It is currently unknown what happened to the air target.
It will be recalled that on September 5, the monitoring Telegram channel "Belarusian Gayun" reported that the Belarusian military was forced to shoot down russian Shaheds that flew into the territory of the country.
A similar incident occurred on the night of August 29. Then, for the first time, Belarus raised combat aircraft to destroy russian drones.
The day before, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine announced that Belarus is trying to suppress information about russian drones flying into the country's airspace.
