In Sumy, a rescue operation was completed at the site of the russian occupiers' attack on a geriatric boarding house. 14 people became victims of the enemy's attack.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).
The department said that rescuers evacuated 147 people from the damaged building.
According to updated information, 14 people became victims of russian shelling. One of them died from injuries.
The department also published photos taken after the occupiers struck.

It will be recalled that on the evening of September 19, the occupiers launched an air strike on a boarding house for the elderly in Sumy. As a result of the hit, the technical and fifth floors of the building were destroyed.
