Germany has additionally allocated EUR 100 million to support Ukraine's energy sector.
The Ministry of Energy has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"We thank the German government for the decision to allocate an additional EUR 100 million to support Ukraine's energy sector, which was announced today by the head of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Baerbock. This assistance is extremely important this winter, which russia wants to use again against Ukrainians as a weapon," says the message.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Germany will contribute EUR 50 million to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine.
The Energy Support Fund of Ukraine was established in the spring of 2022.
