The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to the Verkhovna Rada to freeze the subsistence minimum at the level of UAH 2,900 in 2025.
This is stated in the bill 12000 registered in the parliament on September 14, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is assumed that in 2025, the subsistence minimum will remain at UAH 2,920 from January 1.
For the main social and demographic groups of the population: children under the age of 6 - UAH 2,563; children aged 6 to 18 years - UAH 3,196; able-bodied persons - UAH 3,028.
The draft state budget 2025 provides for a minimum salary of UAH 8,000 and 48 hryvnias, respectively.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the hryvnia exchange rate set in the budget for next year is 45 UAH/USD, inflation is 9.5% (December to December), GDP growth is expected to be lower next year than this year - 2.7%.
