In January-June 2024, compared to the same period last year, Ukrnafta, the largest oil producing company, reduced its net profit by 25% to UAH 10.6 billion.
The company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"For the first half of 2024, Ukrnafta received UAH 10.6 billion in net profit. The results were confirmed by the audit of Crowe Erfolg Ukraine, Crowe Audit & Accounting Ukraine. Also, in the first half of 2024, taxes, duties, dividends were paid to the state budget UAH 20.2 billion for the state share and customs payments," the message says.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrnafta ended 2023 with a net profit of UAH 23.6 billion.
The company ended the first half of 2023 with a profit of UAH 14.1 billion.
In November 2022, the shares of Motor Sich, Ukrnafta, AvtoKrAZ, Ukrtatnafta, and Zaporizhtransformator (ZTR) were alienated into state ownership for the period of martial law.
After its completion, the assets may be returned to their owners or their value may be reimbursed.
