Russia lost almost 9,000 servicemen in first week of autumn - Pavliuk

During the first week of autumn, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated almost 9,000 soldiers of the russian occupation army. More than a thousand units of weapons and equipment were also destroyed.

The commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, reported the details.

"In the week from September 1 to September 8, 2024, the enemy's losses amounted to about 8,960 personnel," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Pavliuk, during the week, the russian occupiers suffered significant losses in equipment and weapons.

So, 1,136 pieces of equipment and weapons were destroyed or damaged, namely:

• 44 tanks;
• 137 combat armored vehicles;
• 168 artillery systems;
• 4 MLRSes;
• 2 air defense systems;
• 337 units of auto equipment;
• 56 units of special equipment.

In the sky, the Ukrainian military destroyed 357 operational-tactical drones and 31 missiles of various types.

We will remind you that today, September 8, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that over the past day, the Ukrainian military eliminated almost 1,300 enemy soldiers.
