During the past day, the aggressor state of russia lost another 1,270 occupiers wounded and killed. In addition, the Defense Forces destroyed 30 artillery systems, 4 tanks and 2 MLRSes.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, the total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 22 to September 08, 2024 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 625,260 (+1,270) people,
- tanks - 8,636 (+4) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 16,897 (+19) units,
- artillery systems - 17,804 (+30) units,
- MLRS - 1,180 (+2) units,
- air defense equipment - 942 (+0) units,
- aircraft - 368 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 328 (+0) units,
- UAV of operational-tactical level - 14,864 (+80),
- cruise missiles - 2,588 (+0),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 24,218 (+47) units,
- special equipment - 3,047 (+10),

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of September 8, the air defense forces destroyed 15 out of 23 Shahed type UAVs and 1 out of 4 Kh-59 guided air missiles over Ukraine.
