Russia receives ballistic missiles from Iran, US warns allies about it – WSJ

The United States has warned its allies that Iran has transferred its short-range ballistic missiles to russia. It is likely that soon the russian army will start using them for attacks on Ukraine.

The Wall Street Journal reported this with reference to American and European officials.

According to unnamed officials in Europe, Washington has informed allies about russia's receipt of ballistic missiles from Iran in the past few days.

Recall that earlier today, September 6, military analyst Sean Bell said in a comment to Sky News that Iran intends to transfer two types of ballistic missiles to russia.

According to Bell, the transfer of missiles to the russian federation is a matter of a few days, since the russian military has been training for several weeks.

We previously reported that in early August, the Reuters agency informed that Iran was training the russian military in the use of Fath-360 ballistic missiles.

At the same time, in February 2024, it became known that Iran allegedly sent hundreds of Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar missiles to russia for their future use against Ukraine.
