Rivne NPP, South Ukraine NPP and Chornobyl NPP have not yet restored communication with all transmission lines aftershelling of occupiers on August 26 - IAEA

The Rivne, South Ukraine and Chornobyl nuclear power plants have not yet restored communication with all power lines after the massive shelling by the occupiers on August 26.

This is stated in the information of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"IAEA teams working at the Rivne, South Ukraine and Chornobyl NPPs reported that these facilities have not yet restored communication with all power lines located outside the site, following the massive shelling on August 26 of electrical substations that are important for ensuring nuclear safety," the message reads.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine agreed with the IAEA to expand the monitoring mission to substations key to the operation of the NPPs.
