The Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Defense Industry joint-stock company (formerly Ukroboronprom) has appointed Oleh Huliak as the provisional director general.
This is stated in the company's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
From July 1, 2024, Huliak worked as an adviser to the company's general director on military cooperation.
"Oleh Huliak has been in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 1993. He began his military career as the deputy commander of the reconnaissance company of the Airmobile Division. He is a participant in the russian-Ukrainian war. In 2021-2024, he was the commander of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine... At that, in the shortest possible time, the Supervisory Board will announce the selection for the position of the Director General of JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry," the message says.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Director General of JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry Herman Smetanin as Minister of Strategic Industries.
