The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Iryna Vereshchuk, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
255 MPs voted for the draft resolution No. 12011, out of the minimum required 226.
MP from the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, announced this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Earlier, Vereshchuk announced that she is moving to the Office of the President of Ukraine, where she will take up the position of Andrii Yermak's deputy.
Vereshchuk held the post of Vice Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories from November 2021.
From July 2019 to November 2021, she was a Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People.
In autumn 2020, she participated in the mayoral elections of Kyiv on behalf of this party, where she took 3rd place in the 1st round.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 3, Iryna Vereshchuk, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, resigned.
However, the Verkhovna Rada refused to dismiss her.
